Sunday Market Westergas Amsterdam
What is the Sunday Market at Westergas?
Once a month the Westergasfabriek — a former gasworks turned cultural park in Amsterdam West — hosts the Sunday Market, the city’s best-known creative market. Expect a carefully selected line-up of local makers: handmade ceramics, independent fashion labels, original art, jewellery, vintage clothing and a generous row of food trucks and delicatessen stalls. Entry is free and the crowd is largely Amsterdammers.

On the Sundays in between, Sunday Market pops up elsewhere in the city — Amstel 1 by the Stopera, the Museum Market on Museumplein and Rokin in the old centre.
Practical information
Address: Pazzanistraat 33, 1014 DB Amsterdam. Admission is free. Take tram 5 to Van Limburg Stirumstraat or walk fifteen minutes from Amsterdam Sloterdijk station; the Westerpark is also an easy cycle from the centre. Most traders take contactless payment. Afterwards the surrounding park is full of cafés and terraces, so plan to linger.
