The Amsterdam Canal Museum: Het Grachtenhuis is located in a monumental (and beautiful!) canal house on the Herengracht. An interactive tour takes you back to the time when Amsterdam flourished as the most important city of the Dutch Golden Age.

Ticket price & discounts Canal Museum

All ticket prices include free use of the audio guide. The audio guide is available in Dutch, English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Japanese and Chinese. In the museum it is only possible to pay with pin. Free lockers are available.

The location is in the centre of Amsterdam and is difficult to reach by car. However, you can park nearby and then travel to the address on foot, by rental bike or by public transport.

Metro Line 52, Rokin stop. From here it is a 9-minute walk to the museum.

Tram 2,11 & 12 Stop Koningsplein. From here it is a 4-minute walk to the museum.

Parking is limited around the museum, we recommend that you travel by public transport as much as possible. The nearest parking garages are parking garage Keizersgracht and parking garage Kalverstraat.
