During Museum Night Amsterdam (Museumnacht) on Saturday 7 November 2026, more than 50 museums open their doors from 19:00 until 02:00. The 26th edition once again transforms the city’s museums with special exhibitions, live music, DJs, performances, workshops and food – one ticket gives access to everything.

What makes Museumnacht special

Museumnacht is aimed at a young, curious crowd, but everyone is welcome. The Rijksmuseum turns into a night-time party palace, small canal-house museums host intimate concerts by candlelight, and contemporary art spaces programme club nights between the artworks. It is the one night of the year you can dance in a museum hall.

How it works

• One ticket, all museums: your Museumnacht ticket gives unlimited access to all participating locations from 19:00 to 02:00
• Free re-entry bonus: the ticket usually includes a free museum visit later in the season – check the conditions
