Every first Sunday of the month, the Westergas terrain hosts the Sunday Market: a stylish market for design, art, fashion and food in the industrial monuments of the former gasworks, next to the Westerpark. The next edition is on Sunday 2 August 2026.

Design, makers and food

The Sunday Market curates around 100 stalls of independent designers, illustrators, jewellery makers, vintage curators and specialty food producers. It’s the place to find one-of-a-kind pieces directly from the makers – with coffee roasters, food trucks and the cafés of Westergas within arm’s reach.

Make a Sunday of it

• Combine the market with brunch at one of the Westergas restaurants or a stroll through the Westerpark
• The Jordaan and the canal district are a 15-minute walk away
