Milkshake Festival is Amsterdam’s most colourful dance festival: a celebration of diversity, freedom and self-expression. On 25 and 26 July 2026, Westerpark transforms into a playground of pop, house, techno and extravagant performance for around 40,000 visitors.

A festival where everything is allowed

Born from Amsterdam’s club scene, Milkshake mixes top DJs with drag shows, voguing battles, glitter, costumes and stages designed like theatre sets. The dress code: come as you are, or as you’ve always wanted to be. The festival deliberately programmes across genres and generations – you’ll dance next to grandmothers and drag queens alike.
