Kings Day Festival Amsterdam

Kings Day is a holiday for the whole of the Netherlands. Many people have the day off and go out. There are lots of activities in Amsterdam from flea markets to parties. That partying is best at the biggest orange festival in the Netherlands. Where the famous orange festivals used to be held on the Museumplein, the biggest orange festival is now on the grounds of Amsterdam RAI. In addition to the large outdoor area, there is also an indoor area. Note: you do need entrance tickets for this festival.

King’s Day Festival Line up

The big orange festival has a great line-up of artists and DJs every year. This year, you can celebrate King’s Day with artists like Martin Garrix, Kraantje Pappie, Bankzitters, Antoon, Bilal Wahib and many more.,

Two types of tickets are available for the Kingsland Festival on Kings Day. There is a regular ticket and a VIP ticket. Below you can also use the calendar to see if and which tickets are still available and reserve your tickets directly.

How to get to Kings Day Festival Kingsland

Kingsland Festival Amsterdam will take place in and around the RAI Amsterdam. For the exact location and directions, please consult Google Maps. The entrance to Kingsland Festival Amsterdam is on the Wielingenstraat side (entrance M).

Metro

Metro M52 (North-South Line) stop Europaplein will NOT be in operation on King’s Day. Coming by metro? Then travel to NS station ‘Amsterdam Zuid’. From here, Kingsland can be reached on foot in 20 minutes. From the station, follow the signs KINGSLAND RAI.

Train

Travelling to Kingsland Amsterdam by train? Then pay attention: station ‘Amsterdam RAI’ will be closed on Kings Day!

A modified timetable applies during Kings Day and for this purpose the NS deploys extra long trains, which means that a stop at ‘Amsterdam RAI’ station is not possible.

The train does make a stop at ‘Amsterdam Zuid’ station from where Kingsland can be reached on foot in 20 minutes. From this station, follow the signs for KINGSLAND RAI.

Car

You can park at RAI Amsterdam P3. However, please note that parking is limited. You can buy a parking ticket online here. We therefore advise everyone to use public transport or bicycle as much as possible.

Taxi, Uber and Kiss & Ride

Coming by taxi or being dropped off by car? Then follow the signs to RAI P5. From here you can easily and quickly walk to the Kingsland entrance. After the festival, you can also return here for a taxi or the K+R. Please note: due to extra crowds on Kings Day, there will be limited taxis available. So plan your return journey well too.
